- We had an old irrigation panel that finally died so Gabe installed a new panel for us and showed us how to use it. He answers his phone (which is rare these days) and communicates very well. - We called Gabe out because we were losing 4,000 gallons of water per day for 3 days. He was willing to come out on a Saturday due to our "emergency" and worked most of the day to not only diagnose our problem but also solve it, and help with some redesign we needed. He showed up on time and ready to work, he didn't waste any time, he was polite and respectful of our needs, and when all was done, he cleaned up properly. His price was very fair, and I would hire him again without hesitation. In fact, he will be coming back this week to help us with other segments of our irrigation system that we feel needs additional attention. - I am not one to write reviews because my expectations are that everyone providing a service should perform at a level that defines them and nothing less. Occasionally a business performs so exceptionally beyond normal expectations that it is difficult to put into words, without being cheesy or unrealistic, what makes that experience so extraordinarily positive. Gabe’s family landscaping can best be recognized for its excellence by stating the facts. My experience began with my first phone call to Gabe. He was prompt in returning my initial call and did not rush to give me anything but complete and accurate answers to my questions. He scheduled an estimate that same day and was amazingly punctual, which turns out to be standard when dealing with Gabe. His quotes are accurate. His work is precise and he pays attention to detail. - First off, I live in Vail, Az. If you are also from Vail and reading this you know you know how difficult it can be to get reliable people to service your yard out here. We moved in 3 years ago and have had issues with our sprinkler. In addition, most landscapers didn't have to ability to look at the sprinkler or were way too expensive. We booked Gabe on a Saturday morning since my wife and I both work during the week... and he did what most companies failed to do... And actually showed up. Quality of work: I wish I would have taken before pictures, because there is no real other way that will give credit to the level of work he did for us. My yard, my house... Hasn't looked this good since we bought it. He also fixed our sprinkler system that no one else had any luck doing. For those of you just thinking, " well that's what I hired him for." Let me tell you this, the quality of work is exceptional, but what makes this company special is the extra work he did that wasn't asked for (or charged). He added a sprinkler line into my wife's favorite flower pot, he checked every individual sprinkler line, personally and they cleaned up after themselves. Our yard feels like it grew to twice the size. Cost: I've had 3 different landscapers. Gabe was the cheapest, and he did more work, faster and with less people. It definitely felt more reasonable when he gave me the quote. After he finished I paid him extra because I was really just that happy with what he did. Professionalism: the only knock I can ever imagine you having is that Gabe doesn't drive a brand new F-350 Super duty, his truck is a work truck and the trailer is nothing to speak of. At first I was a little concerned given that we hadn't had great experiences so far, but Gabe and his workers were exceptionally professional, and as mentioned they're extremely good at what they do. My only regret was not asking for them to do more for us, we will be repeat customers. Conclusion: if you've been on the fence about addressing your yard, or just genuinely been thinking about making improvements. Hire Gabe. - We found Gabes Family Landscaping on Angie's List with numerous overwhelmingly positive reviews. I sent an e-mail and Samantha responded almost immediately. She even had someone to assess the yards for a quote in less than two hours. Their estimate was fairly competitive so it was easy for us to push forward. The landscapers came out the very next day and took care of the front and back yards. We weren't even home for any of this, but when we arrived, we were very happy with all of their work. Amongst other things, the leaves had been picked up in both yards, the bushes trimmed, and the gravel even leveled. They were kind enough to drive back to our house to pick up the payment. At that time, my fiancé mentioned in passing that we had trouble with our irrigation lines. They were so kind that they fixed the leaks IMMEDIATELY even as the sun was going down. We paid them on the spot and are beyond satisfied and impressed with their quality of service. We highly recommend Gabes Family Landscaping!- Nicole Quindara. 0/10/2018
- I called several companies and for the work that Gabe did, the prices were outrageous. Most of them didn't even return my call. Gabe told me what he was going to do and explained what needed to be done to kill the weeds and how often he would need to come back. He did exactly what he said he would do and more.
